Penelope never thought she would get away. Until Riot Petrov showed up on the doorstep, claiming his payment. It was the biggest turn of events. Was she unlucky? Maybe. Scared? Certainly. Was she thrilled to be away from her father? Most definitely. Penelope didn't know who she as or who she wanted to be. She was in a loop of self despair and Riot was at the center of all of it. 

Riot never thought he would end up with this broken and abused girl in his care. But here we are. A payment from a dead man. Feelings start to come up, and suddenly Riot's life just got a lot more complicated, messing up the tight knit ship he runs. 

Will he get rid of her? Or embrace the feelings and lean into them?
